I'm having trouble enrolling, where can I get help?

You can contact Student Connect for help with enrolling in your courses.

I have enrolled in my course but it isn't showing on my Canvas Dashboard.

If you've just enrolled, your course can take up to 24 hours to appear on your Canvas Dashboard - assuming it has been Published by the Teaching Team.

If you can’t see a course that you are enrolled in for the current trimester and 24 hours have passed since you have enrolled, try looking under Courses > All Courses in the Left Hand menu to check if it has been Published.  Some courses will remain Unpublished until the start date, particularly dynamically dated courses (courses that open outside of normal trimester dates) and intensives. The remaining courses will be published soon.

If you don’t find a course that you are expecting to study, check your myGriffith enrolment or contact Student Connect.

I swapped classes/workshops/tutorials, but remained in the same course and the course has disappeared from my Canvas Dashboard.

Enrolment changes can cause your course to disappear from your Dashboard while the enrolment updates - it'll reappear within 24 hours once the changes have been processed. If it has been longer than 24 hours, contact the IT Service Centre for further support.

I am a member of staff and also a student. When I log into Canvas, I can't see the courses I'm studying.

You'll need to make sure that you're logging in using the correct account when you're trying to access your courses for study. For more information, see  Accessing Canvas when you're both a student and staff member.

Where can I go to see whether I am on track for Graduation?

For enquiries regarding program progression and Graduation, please contact Student Connect.

What is the best way for me to manage my enrolment?

These processes all depend on whether you're a Domestic, International or OUA Student.

Domestic Students

Go to MyGriffith >  My Program > Manage Enrolment.

Please note that any changes to your enrolment may affect your academic transcript, fees and eligibility for Commonwealth Assistance. Please visit  Impacts to Commonwealth Assistance for more information. If you need further assistance with your enrolment or program progression, Student Connect will be able to provide further support.

International Students

If you are an international student on a student visa, you must make an appointment with an International Student Advisor to discuss how a reduced study load will affect your student visa.

OUA Students

To manage your enrolment, contact a Student Advisor.
