Depending on how you have created your video-based content, there are different ways to edit and host your content.
Editing video-based content for my course site
In-class recordings are either stored in Echo360 or Microsoft Teams. Details on how to store class recordings can be found at Managing class recordings.

How do I trim this recording? | Most phone platforms have a limited ability to edit the recordings. Hosting your video-based content in Canvas Studio
How do students access this recording?
If you are an owner, you can create links and embed codes (Canvas Guides) for students to access the video.
Who can I share this recording with?
If you are the owner of the video, you can share your media (Canvas Guides) through your “My Library” you can create an external embed code and share via platforms such as websites.
Can students see captions or a generated transcript?
In Canvas Studio auto-generated captions are added and published to your uploaded media by default. Auto-generated captions are not available for YouTube or Vimeo media uploads. For these media types, you can upload caption files or create captions manually.
Any gotchas?
There is no replace function for Canvas Studio files. If a new version is required, it will need to be relinked/re-embedded anywhere it is used.
