Lime Micromobility
Lime Micromobility offers e-bikes and e-scooters at Gold Coast and Brisbane City (South Bank). This initiative helps you move efficiently, stay active, and support a more sustainable future.
Using a Lime e-bike or e-scooter is simple:
- Download the app then search for Lime scooters and bikes near you.
- Scan the QR code on the scooter or bike.
- Follow the prompts to unlock your ride.
When you’re done, please return the bike or scooter to a designated collection point on campus so others can enjoy the service too.
Let’s ride towards a more sustainable campus together!
RIIDE vehicle share at Gold Coast
RIIDE is a vehicle-sharing service that is well established on the Gold Coast, offering students and staff access to ecofriendly transport via hybrid cars with designated parking spaces.
RIIDE is convenient and easy to use, offering plenty of pick-up and drop-off zones around the Gold Coast. The service is low cost, with petrol and damage cover included, and a more sustainable way to travel, thanks to the vehicles’ exceptional fuel economy.
Griffith students and staff can also benefit from a 30% discount off the normal hire rates by entering the exclusive Griffith30 code.
The RIIDE app available on both iOS and Android. To get started, simply download it and register your details.
Liftango Carpooling at Brisbane South (Nathan) and Logan
Staff and students can use the free Liftango carpooling app to share a ride with a fellow Griffith student or staff member and park for free. You’ll be helping reduce our emissions associated with commuting.
You can choose to drive yourself or ride along with others, and—if your vehicle has two or more people in it—you can enjoy guaranteed free parking in the exclusive Liftango area at both campuses.
The car parking is conveniently located in Carpark A and N38 Multistorey Carpark for overflow when visiting Nathan and Information Lane Carpark when at Logan.
When completing your carpool to campus please take note and confirm the carpark location as the app may allocate you to the overflow carpark located in the N38 Multistorey Carpark.
As well as free parking, frequent users will also be rewarded with great incentives like vouchers for coffee, fuel and the Uni Bar.
To access the service, download the Liftango app (available on iOS and Android), register your account using your Griffith email address and follow the setup process. You’ll then be matched exclusively with other Griffith users.
