Chinese Bridge Competition
The Chinese Bridge Competition is a worldwide contest for university students to demonstrate their talent and passion for Chinese language, as well as promoting better understanding between China and the global community. Since its launch in 2002, over 50,000 students from more than 50 countries have participated in this annual competition sponsored by the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation.
The annual competition is held in May. All Queensland university students who are studying Chinese language and culture are eligible for the competition. We encourage participants to apply for the Confucius Institute scholarship covering tuition fees, travel, accommodation and living expenses while representing Queensland in the international finals held in Beijing.
