Indigenous Research Unit
The Indigenous Research Unit supports and facilitates research capacity development for all aspects of Indigenous research at Griffith. The Unit also aims to influence policy to improve socio-economic conditions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Gender Equality Research Network
The Gender Equality Research Network is an interdisciplinary network of more than 50 Griffith academics who are seeking competitive research success for projects dedicated to gender equality.
Law Futures Centre
Griffith’s Law Futures Centre conducts innovative, interdisciplinary research on some of the most significant issues facing our society, including geopolitical shifts, environmental threats and the rapid innovation of technology.

Centre for Social and Cultural Research
The Griffith Centre for Social and Cultural Research is driving world-class humanities and social science research with a global focus. They bring together a multidisciplinary team who are investigating and confronting social and cultural challenges.

The Griffith Criminology Institute is one of the largest and most high-performing criminology communities in the world. Their vision is to produce cutting-edge research that helps create safe, just, well-governed and equitable societies.

Griffith is committed to responsible investments
Griffith University's free cash, other than nominal amounts in operational bank accounts, is invested in either the Queensland Treasury Corporation (QTC) Capital Guaranteed Cash Fund or the Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) Growth Fund. The QTC Capital Guaranteed Cash Fund invests the majority of its funds in medium-term floating rate notes, discount securities, and cash, in banks and financial institutions. QIC is a signatory to the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) initiative and has adopted a Responsible Investment Policy that outlines its commitment to the principles of the UNPRI.
