With hands-on experience across common data science tools, including Python, Tableau, Hadoop and SQL, you will be ready to apply your new skills in your workplace.
Industry connections
In the final year of your degree, you will complete a practical project for industry or a research placement. This will help to build your network of industry connections and seek employment.
Powerful options
Data science and artificial intelligence can be undertaken as a major in the Bachelor of Computer Science or a double degree with the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Environmental Science, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Business. Ben Delaney
Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Data Science
'For anyone looking to study at Griffith, I strongly encourage you to consider undertaking a double degree. This year I got to take a class about website design and then with a short walk across campus later I’m learning about the ways in which we should help Australian wildlife damaged by forest fires.'
