Want some tips for tackling an assignment? Keen to get some pointers on preparing for your next exam?
The Griffith Mentors offer free drop-in sessions to help with your writing, referencing, researching, note-taking and general university skills. The Griffith Mentor team is made up of experienced, high-achieving students who are keen to share their knowledge and help you develop your academic skills.
Please note: Study Support Mentors are unavailable during the Student Vacation and public holidays.
Drop-in sessions Trimester 1
In Trimester 1, you can talk with our Mentors on campus or online at any time during Weeks 2–11 in our Study Support sessions. Online sessions will be held via Teams or email, in person sessions will be held at our libraries (Gold Coast and Brisbane South (Nathan) locations).

Connecting via Teams
You can chat with our Study Mentors online via the Study Support Program team in Microsoft Teams. Our Mentors will be active in the team during the session days and times outlined above.
To join the Study Support Program team and connect with our Mentors:
- Sign into Microsoft Teams with your Griffith ID and password.
- Click Teams in the left-hand panel.
- Click 'Join or create team'.
- Go to 'Join a team with a code' and enter the code 0liz123 (please note: the code is case sensitive).
- Ask a question or join the conversation.
Connecting via email
You can email our Study Mentors anytime using your Griffith student email account.
A Mentor will respond during the session days and times outlined above.
Connecting in person
You can meet with our Study Support Mentors face to face at your campus Library from Week 2 through to and including Week 11.
