Support for female students to study an IT degree
The Dell Transforming Lives with Technology Scholarship provides support to a female student commencing study at Griffith University in an undergraduate information technology degree.
The scholarship is aimed at students who foster the will to have a positive impact on the world.

Scholarship details
To be eligible, you must:
- be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder
- be female
- be enrolled full-time and have commenced your first year of study in Trimester 1 or Trimester 2 2022 at Griffith University in one of the following ICT undergraduate degrees:
- Bachelor of Information Technology (1538)
- Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) (2020)
- Bachelor of Computer Science (1534)
- Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) (2123)
- Bachelor of Intelligent Digital Technologies (1596)
- Bachelor of Advanced Computer Science (Honours) (1657).

- Curriculum Vitae (CV) including details of your work to date, as well as your education, community and employment history.

Following the scholarship closing date, applicants who meet the initial scholarship criteria will be emailed to provide the following personal statements:
- Career goals and aims: Detail your career goals and aims and demonstrate:
- your desire and plans to have a positive impact on the world
- how your goals align with Dell’s goals of transforming lives with technology, advancing sustainability, cultivating inclusion and upholding ethics and privacy.
- Scholarship benefit: How with the scholarship benefit you?
- Community involvement: Demonstrate how you have shown leadership in the community and/or your plans for future community engagement.
Value
This scholarship is valued at $5,000, payable in a single instalment.
Payment
Payments are made up to six weeks after the census date, subject to the recipient satisfying scholarship terms and conditions.
Payment is made, after census, on confirmation the recipient is full-time enrolled at Griffith University and still meets eligibility requirements.
Applications, including any supporting documentation, must be completed and submitted by the closing date.
Offers are made via email.
Applicants may be shortlisted and be required to provide additional information.
Griffith University reserves the right to withdraw an advertised scholarship at any time.
