Multiple scholarship opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists
Cultivating excellence in artistic practice, this scholarship encourages the study of Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art.
The scholarship may be awarded to up to five Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students studying a Bachelor of Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art at the Queensland College of Art and Design.

Scholarship details
To be eligible, you must:
- be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- be enrolled full-time at Griffith University in the Bachelor of Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art
- have successfully completed at least 60 credit points towards your Bachelor of Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art degree.

Shortlisting details
An interview with a selection panel—which includes the CAIA Program Director, a GUMURRII representative and a CAIA alumnus—will take place for shortlisted applicants.
Value
Maximum value is $2,000, paid in instalments. Instalments of $1,000 are payable in Trimester 1 and 2 provided conditions are met.
To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients will be required to:
- remain full-time enrolled in the Bachelor of Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art at Griffith University
- maintain a GPA of 4 or above.
