The Behavioural Science Cluster Honours scholarship supports high-performing students, commencing the Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree (2088), who have a proposed research topic that related to the Cluster’s research interests, including:
- financial decision-making
- behavioural economics
- health
- social impact
- environmental change
- sustainability.

Can I apply?
To be eligible you must:
- be a commencing student in 2021
- have been admitted to and be enrolled in the Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree (2088)
- have achieved a minimum GPA 6.0 during your undergraduate study*
- be studying a minimum of 20CP in a trimester
- nominate, and be supervised by, at least one member of the Behavioural Science Cluster as an Honours supervisor. Supervisors can be found on the Behavioural Science Collaborate website
- undertake research towards an Honours dissertation in an area of Behavioural Science in topic areas which may include, but are not limited to:
- financial decision-making
- behavioural economics
- health
- social impact
- environmental change
- sustainability.
*Applications will be ranked primarily on GPA. Special consideration may apply if you have a GPA 5.5 or above and can demonstrate hardship during your undergraduate studies. Please outline the circumstances in the Statements section.

Honours supervisor approval form: Please have the Griffith staff member that has agreed to supervise your dissertation sign the attached form.
Value
Maximum value is $4,000 payable in instalments. Payments of $2,000 are payable for each full-time enrolment trimester up to maximum value of the scholarship, provided conditions are met. (Pro-rata payments, $1,000, for part-time enrolment (minimum of 20 credit points per trimester).
Successful recipients can choose to receive their payments as a cash payment to their nominated bank account or offset against their Student Contribution Charges (formerly HECS).
Payments are made up to six weeks after the census date subject to maintaining ongoing eligibility requirements.

The Behavioural Science Cluster (the Cluster) has established an honours scholarship to support high-performing students, commencing the Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree (2088), who have a proposed research topic that related to the Cluster’s research interests, including: financial decision-making; behavioural economics; health; social impact; environmental change; and sustainability.
To remain eligible for the scholarship, you will be required to:
- remain enrolled full-time or part-time (20CP) in the Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree (2088)
- maintain a GPA of 6.0 or above to receive the second instalment.
Cash payment is made after census, on confirmation that you are enrolled at Griffith University and still meet eligibility requirements. Tuition fees payments will be made approximately two weeks prior to census on confirmation of conditions being meet.
The above conditions are verified each trimester at census date. If a scholarship recipient fails to successfully meet these conditions, scholarship payments may be withheld, or the scholarship may be terminated.
