To be eligible for this prize, you must be:
- a Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University student
- completing Performance Study (Strings).

Selection process
- Competitors are required to perform a programme of two movements of solo Bach.
- Adjudicators to be appointed by the Head of Area: Strings.
- Adjudicators can nominate up to 10 finalists.
Cash prize of approximately $100.
Donor
This prize was established by the Department of Education from public donations raised to honour the late Vada Jefferies.
Preliminary Round
Competition date: Monday 29 April 2024.
Time: 6.30pm.
Venue: Ian Hanger Recital Hall.
A maximum of five minutes' music will be heard in the preliminary round.
Final Round
Competition date: Tuesday 30 April 2024.
Time: 4pm.
Venue: Ian Hanger Recital Hall.
