Competition details
The prize is open to Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University students enrolled in either a full-time or part-time program at the Conservatorium with classical violin, viola or guitar as their Performance Study.

Selection process
- Competitors are required to play a virtuoso work of Paganini (excluding the concertos) lasting no longer than 10 minutes.
- The aim of the competition is to encourage excellence in performance.
- There is to be only one winner of this prize, and if the standard required by the panel is not reached, no award will be made.
- The adjudicating panel is to consist of as many of the string staff, both full-time and part-time, at the Conservatorium.
Prize value is $50.
