Research Skills Development
This program is designed to enhance the research skills of post-doctoral, early career, and developing researchers, but it is open to researchers at all career stages. It covers a comprehensive range of essential research skills including literature management, journal article writing, publishing, data management, and other key competencies required by researchers.

Researcher Knowledge
These sessions are designed to equip researchers with the essential knowledge needed to thrive at every stage of their research journey. This program includes ‘general knowledge’ workshops relevant to all areas of research. Workshops in this program include media training, managing work life balance and wellness, as well as research impact.
Research Funding and Policy
These information sessions provide researchers with in-depth knowledge of crucial funding opportunities and grant schemes, along with strategies for successfully securing grants. The program covers essential topics such as applying for research funding, managing grants, obtaining ethics approval, and understanding copyright considerations.
Statistical Training Program
This program is aimed at giving participants a taste of new approaches before they start down a new path in developing their statistical skills, and is designed to complement existing knowledge HDR candidates and researchers may already have. Workshops are presented by Griffith University Statistical Advisors and academics with rich experience in statistical methods such as Bayesian, Regression and the use of ‘R'.
Digital Skills
RED offers training on a variety of digital tools to support your research journey. Master reference management with EndNote, learn to build and deploy surveys using REDCap or discover the endless possibilities with AI.
