Advanced Design and Prototyping Technologies Institute
Pushing the boundaries in advanced custom design and rapid prototyping for next-generation biomedical technology
ADaPT’s high-tech mechanical testing and manufacturing capabilities enables us to develop orthopaedic implants and wearable devices.
Facilities include:
- high-end workstations linked to Griffith’s high-performance computing cluster
- robotic machinery with 6-degrees of freedom for testing orthopaedic implants and cardiovascular devices
- 50 different 3D-printers ranging from polymer, carbon fibre and biological printing including a Renishaw AM400 multi-metal printer.
