About us

The CRI is a partnership-based social impact initiative that works with society to help shape a prosperous and just future for all. We seek to enable climate action by unlocking economic and social development pathways that value net-zero and climate resilience.

The CRI is housed by the Griffith Climate Action Beacon and builds on decades of trusted partnerships and engagements in Australia, the Asia Pacific Region and Internationally.

Universities are honest-brokers and have a convening power that spans all aspects of society. As a university hosted initiative, the CRI is well positioned to engage across society to explore the best options for shaping a climate ready future.

As a trusted partner, the CRI helps to facilitate, empower and progress the transformative actions needed to advance effective and just climate action.
