Climate Action Doctoral Training Program
The Climate Action Doctoral Training Program, led by Assoc. Prof. Kerrie Foxwell-Norton and Dr. Danielle H. Heinrichs provides PhD candidates with the opportunity to develop, practice and refine skills and capabilities needed to become a leading climate action researcher. The candidates will be supported by the Climate Action Beacon's experts across Griffith's schools and centres, plus have access to the extensive network of industry, government, and community partners. Our interdisciplinary research focus provides a novel training ground for next generation researchers who will acquire the depth and breadth of skills and capabilities critical to climate action.
Research within the Program is driven by research priorities outlined across our three research themes: Motivating Climate Action, Climate Transitions and Climate Justice. Our work embraces the nexus of climate action, justice and sustainability to achieve positive and progressive social and environmental futures.
