The objective of this conference is to bring together researchers, industry leaders and policy makers to accelerate the research, development and commercialisation of Clean Technologies that could reduce anthropogenic emissions and restore healthy ecosystems. The scope of the discussion includes but not limited to:
- Affordable and Clean Energy
- Clean Water
- Environmental Monitoring and Remediation
- Waste Valorisation
- Responsible and Clean Production
- Biotechnology and Food Security
- Industry Innovation and Disruptive Technologies
Conference Details
The Conference is hosted by Queensland Micro- and Nanotechnology Centre (QMNC), and Centre for Clean Energy and Environment (CCEE), Griffith University. It will be held in Gold Coast, Australia, a city coming of age with an ambitious strategy that encourages innovation and sustainable growth.

Abstract deadline: extended to 5th July 2019.
Please download and use this file as a template for a one-page abstract to be submitted to the ICCTBP 2019. The template margins are 25 mm to the left, 19 mm to the right, and 25.4 mm to the top and bottom. The abstract should be written in English, prepared using this MS Word template, and no longer than 300 words. References in the abstract will not be supported.
Use Arial 12 point font and single line spacing throughout the text of the abstract. Paragraphs should be avoided, but if absolutely necessary they should be separated by an empty line. The use of an English character set is highly recommended in authors’ names, email addresses, and affiliations in order to avoid possible citation difficulties.
Please name your Word document using one of the following formats to distinct poster and oral presentation: "SurnameName _Poster " or "SurnameName _Oral ".
Please email abstracts as an attachment to ISCTBP@griffith.edu.au before the abstract deadline.
Oral presentations
Each oral presentation (Powerpoint or PDF) will be 15 mins in total (12 mins + 3 mins for Q&A). Please ensure your presentation does not exceed these time limits.
Poster presentations
Each poster must be in A1 PORTRAIT format (594 mm width x 841 mm height).
Mantra Legends Hotel offers rooms and suites in beautiful Surfers Paradise, with most accommodation featuring a private balcony with stunning Gold Coast Views. The conference organisers have arranged a special discount for ICCTBP 2019 Delegates.
- Studio Room: with a king sized bed, approximately 34m2 in size.
- Twin Room: with two double beds, approximately 29.4m2 in size.
Rates for Hotel Deluxe Studio/Twin Rooms are AU$ 140 per night, per room. Full buffet breakfast is additional AU$ 20 per person, per night if taken as a bed & breakfast package. Conference rates are valid for 3 days pre and post the official conference nights, subject to availability.

Room numbers are limited and usually need to be booked 28 days prior to the commencement of the conference. An accomodation booking form is required to be completed by each of the delegates requiring accommodation. Booking forms need to be faxed/mailed to the hotel by each delegate.
