Learning@Griffith elearning module

This is an example of an elearning resource created in a Learning@Griffith course site. The module uses Canvas design tools and other interactive resources to present content focused on building students' academic skills. These modules can be designed to be consistent in look and feel with other course content in Learning@Griffith and can contain resources including video, text and interactive elements.

Spot fake news with H5P

This H5P, Spot fake news, provides a timely, creative reminder to students not to believe everything they read. It was created in response to a request from an academic requiring students to find and report on up to date information. We have created a number of these interactives and are happy to discuss new opportunities for reflecting assessment literacy support in this manner.

Come Sway with me!

As more courses are using Microsoft Sway in presenting content, we have used this format to seamlessly offer support to students with assessment literacy. Our Microsoft Sways have videos, H5P interactives and narrative text embedded to support student learning, and can cover generic topics, such as Using Infographics, and Video Presentations, or can be tailored to support your students in their assessment task.

Articulate rise module

Griffith’s rapid COVID-19 transition to online teaching provided an excellent opportunity to partner with Griffith Law School academics to flip the previous workshop approach. We used Articulate Rise to create a new self-paced module for students to complete, which was embedded in the course Learning@Griffith site. This module packaged a new suite of legal research videos with other supporting content to improve student learning outcomes and allowed academics to monitor student engagement and progress.
