How borrowing works
Check your Griffith University email account regularly to view important information regarding your library record. To avoid library charges, return or renew your books on time.
- Your items will automatically renew after the initial borrowing period. They will not automatically renew if another person has requested the item or you have reached the maximum renewals
- Due dates may change if the item is recalled—excluding interlibrary loans
- If your items become overdue, you will be unable to borrow until you return or renew your items
- You will receive an email notification when an item is overdue. A library invoice is sent if the item becomes long overdue. Once the item is returned the replacement cost is waived
- If items remain long overdue or library charges are not paid, you will be blocked from borrowing, re-enrolling and graduating.
Refer to Library resources and spaces: Conditions of use for further information.
