Yasmin Murry graduated with a dual degree in Law / International Relations (Hons) from Griffith University in 2016 and was awarded the University Medal. Since then Yasmin has held various roles at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Yasmin’s work at the ACCC has spanned across competition and consumer law enforcement, the review of mergers and acquisitions, and most recently product safety regulation and enforcement.
Yasmin is a committed advocate for diversity and inclusion in her workplace and more broadly. Yasmin volunteered as a Director of Pride in Law, Australia’s national LGBTQIA+ law association, from 2021-2023 and prior to that served as Secretary of the QLD Chapter.
Yasmin is actively involved in her community, including as a player for the Morningside Panther’s AFL team.
