Connect on campus
Access free Wi-Fi for visiting guests who do not have a Griffith Wi-Fi account or an eduroam participating institution account.
How to access
- under your device Wi-Fi settings > select Griffith Public WiFi network
- open your web browser > click on the Griffith Public WiFi tile
- follow the prompts to register for an account
- you will receive an email or SMS with your registration details
Important:
The maximum usage limit is currently set at 10GB. Griffith public Wi-Fi accounts will be disabled once this maximum limit is reached.
Griffith public Wi-Fi accounts are valid for 12 months from date of registration.
What type of access do I get?
Access to the Internet and personal email—similar to a hotel or airport hotspot service.
Please note: this service blocks access to Griffith student and staff resources including Griffith portal, Learning@Griffith and other internal resources.
Griffith public Wi-Fi access speeds are likely to be limited to 2 Mbps.
Where can I use it?
The Griffith public Wi-Fi wireless network is available on all Griffith University campuses.
How much does it cost?
This service is free to register and valid for 12 months.
