Eligibility
To be eligible to apply you must:
- Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Be a full-time student starting in Trimester 1, 2025.
- Accept your offer to study at Griffith and make payment within 14 days of receiving your Letter of Offer. The acceptance date for this award will be outlined in your Letter of Offer.
- Be studying an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program. See the Terms and Conditions below for excluded programs and cohorts.
How to apply
To receive the Early Acceptance Award, just accept your offer and make payment to study at Griffith University within 14 days of receiving your Letter of Offer.
Process
- Apply to study an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at Griffith University, commencing Trimester 1, 2025.
- If you are eligible, you will receive confirmation and your award acceptance date in your Letter of Offer, in Tuition and other fees - Additional information.
- You must accept your offer and pay your total deposit fee by the award acceptance deadline.
Deadline
You will have 14 days (2 weeks) from receipt of your Letter of Offer to accept your Early Acceptance Award. If you accept your offer or pay your total deposit fee after 14 days, you will not receive this award.
- Africa: students must accept by 1 December 2024
- South Asia: students must accept by 20 December 2024
Receiving the award
- Once you start studying at Griffith the award will be applied as a credit to your account prior to the census date of your first trimester. You must pay the remaining balance of fees, based on your enrolment, by census date.

Terms and Conditions
- Griffith University academic and English language entry requirements apply, including results of previous study and English language proficiency.
- The award covers 10% of undergraduate or postgraduate coursework tuition fees for the first trimester of study only, for students commencing in Trimester 1, 2025.
- Students must accept their Letter of Offer and pay their total deposit fee by the award acceptance date specified in official University communication. This award will be granted as a non-refundable credit on the student account. Should a student withdraw or cancel for any reason, the award amount is non-refundable.
- Students who defer commencement to an intake after Trimester 1, 2025 are not eligible to receive the award.
- If eligible, the Early Acceptance Award will apply in addition to other Griffith International student scholarships.
- Students must be International Fee Paying to qualify for the award.
- Excludes students enrolling in Higher Degree Research, non-award, Study Abroad Program, Masters Qualifying Program, Dental programs (1577, 1613, 1638, 1574, 1580, 2126, 5702, 5703, 5699), Psychology programs (5070, 5747, 5753), Medical programs (1280, 5099), Nursing and Midwifery programs (1162, 1354), Master of Speech Pathology (5567), Bachelor and Master of Social Work (1416, 5758), Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (1604), Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) (1436), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) (1662), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) (1590), English language programs at the Griffith English Language Institute, programs that are only offered part time, programs delivered onshore or offshore in collaboration with a partner organisation, Australia Award/Australian Government sponsored students, foreign government sponsored students and students on packaged onshore Australia pathways.
