Public transport is managed by TransLink. The cheapest and easiest way to use light rail, bus and train services is to use a go card—a rechargeable travel card that gives users discounted fares.

Travelling between campuses

Nathan – Mt Gravatt

The inter-campus bus between Nathan and Mt Gravatt campuses is a free service for students. It operates from Monday to Friday, departing Nathan on the hour and half hour, and quarter past and quarter to the hour from Mt Gravatt.

Nathan – Gold Coast

This free shuttle service bridges the missing link between the Gold Coast and Nathan campuses.
This service is supported by the public transport system and it will connect passengers from the Altandi Rail Station with the Nathan campus up to every 30mins.

You will need either an International or a Queensland Driver Licence to drive in Queensland.

Buying a car

Before buying a car, consider the running costs. Owning one can cost up to an extra $120 – $140 per week.

Cycling is a cheap and easy way to get around and there are numerous bike tracks both on campus and throughout the local area.
