Jeff Blee Memorial Prize Recipients
Awarded to a Griffith University student enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research hosted by the School of ICT and who is a member of the Institute for Integrated Intelligent Systems, when given the opportunity, has accomplished outstanding achievements in the field of information and communication technologies. Not necessarily the highest achiever, but a student committed to achieving their best and has had to overcome obstacles and/or adversity to do so.
This prize of $500 was created by the late, Irene Blee in memory of her son Jeff who as a mature aged student loved his newfound career in ICT and study at Griffith University. Jeff as a mature aged student managed his own hurdles and helped and supported others. Congratulations to the following students awarded the following year.

Smart Agriculture Symposium – ARC Research Hub for Driving Farming Productivity and Disease Prevention

The Symposium brought together key stakeholders to present and discuss current research, trends and technologies in the Smart Agriculture sphere. They were able to communicate the current research progress of AI and smart technology for agriculture/horticulture and to discuss the challenges, need and potential commercialisation of developed technologies.
