The EcoCentre’s conference room boasts a beautiful outlook of the forest and a verandah that can be used as a break out space or for meal breaks. Our conference facilities are competitively priced with comfortable seating for up to 100 people in theatre style seating or 70 people in workshop style.
Additional spaces in the EcoCentre such as the Canopy Room and Gallery are limited to after-hours, weekends and Queensland school holidays. Please enquire about availability for these spaces.
Wi-fi access is available via Griffith Public Wi-fi or Eduroam for visitors with an Eduroam account. Facilitator wi-fi access can be provided and requires a minimum of 3 days notice.
Paid parking is available on campus Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 7.00pm. Parking can be paid at one of the pay stations located in the car parks or via the PayStay app. See the Parking website for more information.
On-site catering is available on weekdays only. You can contact Australian Catering Services at griffith@australiancatering.com.au or on 3735 5370. You are welcome to engage an external caterer of your choice but it's mandatory they comply with the External Caterer Requirements, be self-sufficient and able to provide all the necessary equipment to comply with the health regulations. It is the hirers' responsibility to meet all requirements.
Room Hire Fees
Cost includes room set-up, audio-visual equipment and on-site support.
Audio-visual equipment consists of 70" TV screens connected via HDMI (you will need to provide a laptop with an HDMI connection or adaptor).
The EcoCentre's normal operating hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm. Additional charges apply for after-hours and weekend hires.
A deposit of $210 +GST is required to confirm your booking and is payable via GriffithPAY. The deposit is refundable up to 30 days prior to the event date. Once the deposit has been received, you will receive a confirmation email. The balance will be invoiced 30 days before the event is scheduled.
