Kickstart your career with BusinessPLUS workshops

As part of the BusinessPLUS program, Griffith Business School students and graduates can access a series of exclusive career skills workshops offering advice and resources to develop your career. The workshops are also a great place to meet and interact with students from across the school and find out more about other opportunities available at Griffith. For those unable to attend the on-campus sessions, online modules are also available.

The BusinessPLUS Career Skills Workshop Series is delivered as part of the BusinessPLUS program (PREPARE element).

The workshops give students and graduates the opportunity to develop strategies for finding employment and participating in a professional work environment. You will also develop skills to assist in applying for jobs and sitting for interviews, as well as ways to manage your professional reputation.

What our students say about the workshops:

What students say

These workshops have benefited me as they give me a better understanding of what employers are looking for and gives me a better idea on what I need to do and what I can do to make myself more employable.

Vanessa, Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of International Business

I have found all 4 workshops to be extremely useful. They have made me realise what aspects of myself I need to work on; what considerations (being more open-minded & flexible) I need to have of other people in terms of both employers and other work colleagues; how to best present myself in job applications and interviews and lastly but not the least, how to actively manage my career.

Rachel, Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Commerce

I found the most beneficial thing about the series was not only the content covered in class, but also the thinking process it sparked. I found myself putting more thought into careers and what steps to consider and take to ensure I am getting the most back on my investment to study.

Joel, Bachelor of Business

It has deepened my understanding and increase my confidence in applying for work and networking. Additionally, I am more aware of the services offered at Griffith to help students find work.

Jennifer, Bachelor of Business

Meeting new people and finding out what other people have done through their uni courses. Their work experiences and career goals helped me understand what others have done, and that has really opened up ideas for what I can do to help move my career goals forward.

Mitchell, Bachelor of Business
