Ambassadors Program
Years 9, 10 and 11
Students will develop a greater understanding of business and government studies, while gaining a better understanding of university life and the many opportunities a career in business offers. Themes will range from the purpose of business, engaging Australia and the Asia-Pacific, why money matters, the future of work, business decision making and grand challenges for business.
Responsible Leaders Challenge
Years 10 and 11
The Responsible Leaders Challenge is aligned with the senior school curriculum and empowers budding entrepreneurs and marketers to unleash their creativity and business acumen.
This in-school challenge requires participants to work in teams to devise compelling, contemporary solutions for the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Enterprising Skills for the 21st Century Workshop
Years 11 and 12
We live in a world where technology is in constant (re) evolution. Artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation are transforming industries and redefining the skills needed for the workforce. The tasks and jobs that machines cannot replace, along with the new opportunities emerging in the next decade, will demand creative thinking and emotional intelligence. This workshop offered over the school holidays will equip students to thrive in the new digital and gig economy of the future.
Leaders who matter workshops
We’re excited to announce the expansion of our ‘Leaders who matter’ program this year. This initiative features a series of dynamic workshops designed to inspire and equip students with essential leadership skills. These sessions work best with small groups (fewer than 38 students) but can be tailored to suit larger groups, or even teacher-focused sessions based on your school’s needs.
Our Schools Program Director Dr Ryan Gould can visit your school to deliver these engaging sessions. Book a session/s or discuss possible tailoring options via email gbs-schools@griffith.edu.au
