Biography
David has had an exemplary career within the property industry for the past two decades with leading property groups and consulting services. David was previously the Victorian General Manager for Sunland Group, delivering iconic residential projects.
Currently, David is the Director of Development for the Sterling Global Property Group. The Group was established in 2012, and is a privately owned real estate investment and development business, with a focus on mixed use and urban residential development along the eastern seaboard of Australia and China. Sterling Global’s development pipeline is valued in excess of AUD1.4B
In addition to developing high-end residential communities, David has also been working closely with Community Housing Providers to assist with site assessment, development, and delivery of Social and Affordable Housing to those most in need. These services including full site analysis, feasibility studies and most suitable delivery models as part of the Development and Project Management.
David co-founded the Red23 Development and Project Management Division that adds to an already strong brand in the residential property sector. This partnership allows Red23 to meet the demand of their developer clients to develop an acquisition strategy, conceptualize a project, determining its feasibility, obtaining development approvals, deliver the end product and finally selling the project on behalf of Red23’s clients.
David also participates in number of boards and committees, including the Strategic Advisory Board (Griffith University Business School), Committee Member and Advisor for Housing All Australians Advisory Board Member Top 100 Women in Construction and is the past National President Graduate Management Association of Australia, and has previously chaired Griffith University’s Alumni Advisory Group.
In 2014 David was recognised with the Outstanding Young Alumnus of the Year Award (Griffith Business School - Griffith University) and has been awarded the MBA Director's Community Citizenship Award (2007).
