Our engagement
Griffith Business School, in collaboration with our partners, offers many initiatives, both in the curriculum and as part of our co-curricular activities. Through graduate placement programs, work-integrated learning, professional development and research expertise, we maintain loyal and supportive relationships with many high-profile organisations across the country and throughout the Asia–Pacific region.
Introducing Griffith Advantage

Our mission is simple: We collaborate with you to empower your managers and leaders with the skills they need to succeed.

How to engage with us
Connect with our students
We connect future business leaders with industry through a range of work-integrated learning experiences such as study tours, simulations, and projects.
Provide a student with valuable industry experience that benefits your organisation through our internship program.
Share your knowledge
Business leaders are appointed as industry adjuncts, Executives in Residence or as members of our Strategic Advisory Board to share their knowledge and experience.
The student experience is enriched by curricular and extra-curricular activity that involves distinguished industry leaders and entrepreneurs.
Support future leaders
Thousands of students across the Griffith community have benefited from the philanthropy of alumni, staff, friends and business partners.
Donors can elect to establish a scholarship or award to support the next generation of leaders in their fields and encouraging students to aim high and excel in their studies.
Connect with a researcher
Our world-class researchers regularly work with industry, community and government partners to better understand our world and improve people’s lives.
Search our academic database to connect with one of our researchers and find out how we can work together.
Blackmore Leadership Summit
We are partnering with renowned Australian business leader Marcus Blackmore AM with his Blackmore Family Foundation providing a $6.3 million philanthropic gift to pave the way for world-class business leadership in Australia.
The Blackmore Family Foundation’s investment will establish the Blackmore Chair within Griffith Business School, and create the first three Blackmore Leadership Summits, the first set to commence in 2025.

Better Business dinner
Griffith Business School celebrated industry partners, alumni and the wider business community at their Better Business Dinner on Friday, 3 November 2023, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The School’s industry showcase event saw the School’s business, academic, alumni and student community come together to network, celebrate and be challenged by keynote speaker, summer and winter Paralympian Jessica Gallagher, to think differently and change the way we see the world.
Climate Ready Initiative
The Climate Ready Initiative (CRI) is a partnership-based social impact initiative that works with society to help shape a prosperous and just future for all.
We seek to enable climate action by unlocking the economic and social development pathways that value net-zero emissions and climate resilience.
The Centre for Applied Energy Economics and Policy
A collaborative partnership between Griffith Business School and energy sector participants in Australia’s National Electricity Market. This Centre aims to maximise the energy sector's potential to achieve emission reductions and contribute to inclusive, sustainable and prosperous businesses and communities while building capacity in the electricity economics.
Advancement
After 40 years of developing future ready, responsible business leaders, our community has grown to over 50,000 engaged alumni. Our alumni are spread across the globe working in a diverse range of industries.
The Bushfire Pavilion
The Bushfire Pavilion is part of a research project between Binna Burra and Griffith University. It’s a place for reflection and a space to share stories about how the community emerged from the disaster. We hope it becomes a hub for the community to reflect about the impact of natural disasters and consider how we can become more resilient.
The Murweh Shire Tourism Precinct
The Griffith Institute for Tourism engages and mobilises the input of local communities, tourism businesses and tourists in peripheral regions of Australia to develop peak tourist experiences with exceptional potential to inspire repeat visits and recommendations. The Murweh Shire Tourism Precinct Project is a great example of how the Institute worked with the community to achieve great outcomes.
Loganly Grown
Food is a connector. It helps ground ourselves in place and culture and creates a bridge to others. Growing, making and sharing food and drink offer opportunities to grow civic futures. This event from our Homebase team gathered Logan growers, makers, sellers, providers and innovators to deepen connections and see what might grow.
