Study in Fiji
This 10CP elective is a fantastic opportunity for selected students to apply their HRM knowledge in a practical setting.
The two-week study tour focuses on the management of human resources in organisations, and will feature briefing sessions on business practices in Fiji, academic lectures and workshops relating to HRM, industry visits and cultural tours. Plus, you’ll experience the wonderful things Fiji has to offer.
This course embraces diversity and encourages applications from a diversity of students, including those who are:

- living with a disability and/or neurodiversity
- and/or culturally, linguistically
- and/or ethnically diverse

Cost
Approximately $3,500 (subject to final numbers) including:

New Colombo Plan Funding ($3,500 per student) available to selected 20 students (Australian citizens)

To receive NCP funding, students participating in a Mobility Project must:
- be an Australian citizen
- not have dual citizenship or permanent residency in Fiji
- be enrolled at Griffith University (OUA students are not eligible for enrolment in this course as it is not on OUA's list of approved courses)
- be undertaking a bachelor’s degree or bachelor’s Honours Degree at the commencement of travel
- not have already commenced a period of overseas study in Fiji
- not receive more than two NCP mobility grants during your course of your degree
- be between 18 and 28 years of age at the commencement of their Mobility Project
Please note it is a government funding requirement that at least 70% of students participating in any given Mobility Project must be aged 18 to 28 inclusive at the commencement of their Mobility Project. Therefore, it is possible for students over 29 to apply however spaces are limited to a maximum of 6 students aged 29 years and older. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students aged over 28 are not subject to this requirement.
