Academic staff, professional staff, HDR students, undergraduate students, postgraduate students.
Service Provisions
Service Includes:
- Management, of ad-hoc, volume, and annual software license agreements for the University
- Management of appropriately licensed home-use rights for staff/students where available
- Non-technical advice on licensing options
- Management of the Electronic Infrastructure Recurrent Plan (EIRP)
Service is supported by:
- Management of the Software Download Facility which provides electronic distribution of site and volume licenses to authorised clients
- Maintenance of the standard software catalogue, which provides clients with information on University supported software by type and version
Service Excludes:
- Does not supply to external clients
Service Availability
Self-help service available 24/7.
Client service staff available 9am-5pm working days.
Catalogued software licenses deployed to end-user computing devices within 1.5 days on average Specific “non-catalogue” software licenses deployed to end-user computing devices within 4 days on average.
Cost
There is no cost associated with the use of this service.
