About the service
Manages the PKI infrastructure and generates Transport Layer Security (TLS) and manages existing Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates for Griffith University servers. TLS and SSL encryption secures websites, intranets, extranets, and other server-based applications and guards online communications and digital transactions through encryption using a secure channel between servers and users. As TLS is built into most modern web browsers and servers, a trusted TLS certificate assures Internet users that a web server is authentic.
