About the service
Provides an incident response service for cyber security incidents; following the lifecycle of Preparation, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recovery. Works with departments and individuals following incidents to provide improved protection practices.
This service is available to
All cyber security incidents reported to the Cyber Security Team related to Griffith University IT systems.
What can I expect?
Service Includes:
- Fully organized and operationalized Computer Security Incident Response (CSIRT) service following a formalised framework for incident management
- Cover incidents such as malware, phishing, ransomware, unauthorized access (hacking), data breaches, website defacements and other incidents
- Recovery from incidents and identification of additional controls required
Service Availability
Telephone and onsite support is available from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Out of hours escalation for incidents follows a defined internal process.
Cost
No cost unless additional services are involved.
How do I get this service?
All incidents should be reported to the IT Service Centre who will then contact the Cyber Security Team.
