Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope

The FE-SEM: JSM 7100 - Is ideal for imaging and analysis of micro- and nano-structures which has a resolution (sample dependent) of 1.2 nm at 30kV and 3.0 nm at 1kV. This FE-SEM is equipped with a Quorom Technology cryo-preparation system for cryo scanning electron microscopy (cryo-SEM) that allows suitable liquid or hydrated specimens to be examined frozen. It is also equipped with 129 JEOL eV resolution silicon drift detector (SDD) for X-ray Energy Dispersive Spectroscope (EDS) microanalysis.

X-ray Powder Diffractometer (XRD)

The Bruker D8 Advance Eco X-ray Diffraction (XRD) is equipped with 1kW X-ray source and SSD160 1-dimensional compound silicon strip detector. The XRD applications include Phase identification (Phase ID); Microstructure analysis; Structure determination and refinement; Residual stress; Texture; Grazing Incidence Diffraction (GID); X-ray Reflectometry (XRR); Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS).

The nScrypt 3Dn 3D Printer enable users to complete projects in the additive and subtractive manufacturing fields.
