Arrange a career appointment with a HDR Career Development Consultant who can:

  • assist you in developing a career plan to help you work towards your academic or industry career goals
  • offer you job application advice including feedback on your application, responding to selection criteria and interview preparation
  • provide you with a LinkedIn review and advice to help you build a strong profile
  • help you develop a self-marketing strategy to maximise career success.

Emerging Industry Leaders Program

Our Emerging Industry Leaders Program is a two-day professional development initiative that offers HDR candidates
practical career management, employability and leadership skill development training.

Program participants also get the opportunity to network with business leaders at a “Meet the Leaders in Industry” event, to gain insights into the diverse range of job opportunities available.

The program is offered twice a year at either Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

Trimester 1 program dates are 28 May and 4 June 2025.

How to apply

HDR candidates need to be registered with the Industry Mentoring Program to participate in the Emerging Industry Leaders program.
