Study at our South Bank campus in the heart of Brisbane’s cultural precinct, or at our exciting Gold Coast campus. Collaborate with Griffith Film School students studying film and screen media, animation and games design.

Portfolio admission

Admission to study at Queensland College of Art and Design is available via portfolio submission or ATAR/Rank.

Visual Arts and Design portfolio workshops

These workshops are tailored to those in Year 10 and above and will be held 25 June 2024 at the South Bank campus (Design and Visual Arts), or 5 July 2024 at the Gold Coast campus (Design only).

These workshops will show you how to build a creative portfolio in readiness for submitting a portfolio admission. You'll learn how to create a portfolio that best represents your unique creativity and skills; complete at least one piece of work for your creative portfolio; meet with our staff and explore our QCAD studios and facilites.

Griffith University Art Museum

Based on the South Bank campus, Griffith University Art Museum is custodian of the Griffith University Art Collection, the second largest public art collection in Queensland. The Museum is committed to innovative research and experimentation to encourage appreciation and understanding of art and its role in society. The Museum organises exhibitions, educational and public programs.
