Join us over three days during the Easter school holidays for some musical theatre fun and learning in a fun and supportive environment.

Hosted by the Rockhampton Regional Council, participants will have the opportunity to develop their musical theatre skills (acting, singing and dancing) with instructors from the Queensland Academy of Excellence in Musical Theatre, Griffith University.

  1. Go to See It Live to book your preferred workshop

The workshop will be split into two groups which will run concurrently—a junior workshop for participants in grades 8—10 and a senior workshop for participants in grades 11 & 12.

The groups will come together for a final showing on the Sunday for families and friends.

No audition required—entry is open to anyone who wants to build their musical theatre skills.

Friday 11 April - 5.00pm to 9.00pm

Saturday 12 April - 9.00am to 5.00pm

Sunday 13 April - 8.30am to 1.00pm

What to wear: Comfortable clothes you can move in (active wear is best). If you own jazz shoes, then also bring these. You may also wish to pack a spare shirt to change into after dance sessions.
What to bring: Water, snacks, lunch and a towel.
Solo songs and Masterclasses - Participants should prepare two x 2 minute cuts of musical theatre songs for workshopping and must bring two printed copies of your sheet music marked up for the accompanist and the singing teacher. We recommend that you put your sheet music for the pianist into a display folder or have it taped up.
