Source Materials brings together six artists who share philosophical approaches to time and transcultural practice. Working from distinct cultural and political contexts, multidisciplinary artists Ómra Caoimhe (UK/Australia), Nicole Foreshew (Wiradjuri Nation, Australia), Ektor Garcia (Mexico/USA), Dale Harding (Bidjara, Ghungalu, Garingbal, Australia), Bronwyn Katz (South Africa) and Shireen Taweel (Australia) draw from traditional practices as well as post-minimal and conceptual art theories to present new ways of reading and thinking about art that identify breaches rather than continuums of culture.
