How it works
Masters degree structures comprise foundation, core and flexible modules, and are typically 2 years in duration. This adaptable framework recognises that your experience matters and you deserve to be rewarded for the hard work you’ve already done.
Already completed a related degree and have relevant work experience under your belt? We’ll fit that history into your academic journey and get you on the path to graduation sooner than through a traditional postgraduate pathway.
Foundation
40 credit points
(six months full time)
You only need to complete foundation study if your formal learning is in a different discipline or you have limited professional experience.
Core
80 credit points
(one year full time)
Core is a deepening module of study about the specific discipline on which your degree is focused.
Flexible
40 credit points
(six months full time)
The flexible module provides depth and breadth in the discipline, as well as a research pathway.
With the right mix of experience and approved prior education, you’ll be able to tick off your foundation and flexible components as complete before you even start your degree.
That means you’ll only have to complete your core units to earn your new qualification and get back to business after just one year of study.
