Beginning his career as a film producer with the award-winning feature “Maya,” he spent over a decade producing and production managing international productions filming in India and South Asia, such as Peter Weir’s The Way Back and “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Following this, he spent eight years in physical production roles at Warner Bros. in Burbank, supporting the production of over 40 major studio films, including blockbusters like Wonder Woman 1984, Dunkirk, and The Batman. His appetite for innovation and risk-taking led him to co-found Skatepark Films LLC, a Los Angeles-based production company he set up alongside his Emmy Nominated Director wife, Manjari Makijany.

Skatepark Films focuses on creating compelling stories with global appeal. Their Netflix Original Feature, "Skater Girl," reached audiences in 191 countries and 31 languages.

Beyond commercial success, Emmanuel is deeply committed to philanthropy. As a co-founder of the Skate Basti Foundation, he empowers underserved communities through skateparks that integrate art and education. His dedication to social impact is evident in projects like the Desert Dolphin Skatepark, one of India's largest community skateparks and the only skatepark in the state of Rajasthan.

Emmanuel's entrepreneurial spirit and knack for finding solutions have been pivotal in his career. From managing complex productions to navigating international business landscapes, he thrives in diverse environments.

His education at Griffith University equipped him with a deep understanding of cinema language and global practices, laying the foundation for his success.

Even as a student, Emmanuel demonstrated his tenacity and confidence, reaching out to postgraduate students in his first year and volunteering to produce films with them. His willingness to take on challenges is exemplified by his role in shutting down a national monument for filming "The Dark Knight Rises," a feat previously unheard of.

Now married with a young daughter, Emmanuel cherishes working alongside his wife and their close collaboration with Mac Productions India led by his sister-in-law. Throughout his illustrious career, Emmanuel has garnered numerous accolades. Despite his global success, Emmanuel remains grounded, finding solace in spending time with his family and pursuing his passion for empowering the lives of children through sports, arts and education.

Through his films, he has sparked important conversations about social issues and cultural exchange, using his platform to advocate for positive change on a global scale.
