Professor Andreas Chai is the Director for Griffith’s Academy of Excellence in Financial Crime Investigation and Compliance. Professor Chai brings his passion for multidisciplinary research and applied microeconomics to specialise in household consumption behaviour from an evolutionary economic perspective and its implications for economic development, measuring poverty, structural change in the economy and climate change adaptation. Professor Chai lead the development of the Academy’s recently launched micro-credential program offered to CBA staff, enhancing skills and knowledge in financial crime investigation and compliance.
