Ms Natalia Drazek

(Elected undergraduate student member - from October 2024)

Natalia Drazek is a double-degree student at Griffith University, studying Environmental Science and Business Management. She holds several leadership roles, including serving as the Undergraduate Representative on the Griffith University Council. As Vice President of the Griffith University Gold Coast Student Guild, she chairs the Sport and Cultural Committee and sits on both the Executive Committee and Guild Board. She leverages her AICD Foundations of University Governance qualification to provide strategic and impactful leadership.

Beyond Griffith, Natalia extends her leadership globally as a member of the Global Shapers program, a World Economic Forum initiative that empowers young leaders to drive positive environmental change. She is also committed to student engagement, serving on the Griffith Business School Retention Task Force and as the Event Officer for the Griffith University Commerce Society, where she helps foster community among students.

Natalia’s leadership and dedication have been recognised through several awards in 2024: the Griffith Business School Leadership Award for her contributions to student leadership, the Griffith Sciences Engagement in Professional Development Award for her commitment to professional growth, and the Griffith Sciences Dashing Debut Award for her impact as a new leader. She is also a member of the Student Academy of Excellence and the Golden Key International Honour Society, which recognises the top 15% of students globally.

Outside the university, Natalia is an intern at South Queensland Environmental Expertise and Services, where she contributes to technical environmental reporting. She has also gained hands-on experience in environmental management as an Environmental Advisor at Energy Queensland and a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Pre-Graduate at Keolis Downer.
