PhD Monash

Lachlan is a post-graduate medical student at Griffith University, based at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital & Sunshine Coast Health Institute.

Previously, he has worked as an associate consultant for Commercial Eyes, Australia’s largest life sciences and commercialisation consultancy providing expertise related to disease epidemiology, forecasting and analytics. Lachlan has also held various roles with Eastern Health within research ethics and clinical quality review committees, and Monash Health where he was formerly Vice-President of the Hudson Institute Student Society.

Lachlan also holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Deakin University, an honours degree from Victoria University and completed his PhD in 2019 at Monash University for which he was awarded an Australia post-graduate award, Top-up scholarship and a post-graduate publication award.
