Nathan campus
The Nathan campus is situated in tranquil, native koala habitat on the edge of Toohey Forest, just 20 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. Griffith’s foundation campus, Nathan offers degrees in aviation, business, government, engineering, information technology, environment, humanities, languages, law, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and science. On-campus student accommodation is available.
Library and study zones
Our Nathan library includes computers and printing facilities and a variety of individual and group study spaces and research and collaboration zones. The Goanna Lounge offers another top study spot on campus.
Food and coffee
You’ll be spoilt for choice at Nathan, with several different dining outlets to choose from. Whether you feel like a hearty burger or a healthy salad, there are options aplenty.
Sport and recreation
The Nathan Fitness Centre offers a range of services to help you achieve your fitness goals. The two story facility gives you access to; group fitness classes, cardio, weights and a functional fitness area, as well as personal trainers and an onsite physio. Nathan is also home to a purpose built Multisport Complex which is the first of its kind in Queensland, as well as sporting fields and a Squash Centre. We offer a comprehensive range of student support, including health and medical, equity, welfare, counselling and chaplaincy services.
Retail
Our on-campus shops include a pharmacy, post office, convenience store, travel agency and bookshop.
Eco Centre
Designed according to strict eco-design principles, our EcoCentre provides a tangible example that the knowledge and resources to develop a truly sustainable world already exists. The Centre hosts sustainability events and forums, and provides an ideal setting for exhibitions, conferences, meetings and training seminars.
