Teaching and research facilities
Griffith Health Clinics
Our clinics are helping the Gold Coast’s growing population access affordable, high-quality healthcare, as well as providing our students with a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience.
Our practitioners work alongside our students to deliver a range of services, from dietetics and dentistry to social and speech pathology.
Financial trading room
From the Gold Coast’s Margaret Mittelheuser Trading Room, our accomplished finance students can access Queensland’s largest student-managed investment fund, totalling $250,000.
Students can analyse, evaluate and invest in socially responsible ASX-listed companies using live data and real money, with all profits reinvested into student scholarships.
Virtual pharmacy
We’re preparing our pharmacy students for the world of work through innovative, technology-driven education.
In Griffith’s virtual pharmacy, students can gain career-ready skills in different environments, including hospital and community pharmacies across the globe, without ever having to leave the classroom.
The Gold Coast’s university designing for the future
Griffith has always done things differently. It’s just who we are. It’s this forward-thinking spirit that drives our work at the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, a 200-hectare, $5 billion hub for research, collaboration, entrepreneurship and innovation. There, you’ll find our Griffith Innovation Centre (hosted by resident co-working space Cohort) and App Factory, among other boundary-pushing neighbours.
And next door is our $80 million Advanced Design and Prototyping Technologies Institute (ADaPT), which is breaking new ground in advanced custom design, prototyping and new materials. With innovation and collaboration at its core, ADaPT is helping to usher in the next industrial revolution—the future of design, manufacturing and medicine.
