Intention to submit

2 months prior to your maximum submission date, you will receive an email advising that you need to complete an Intention to Submit Thesis service request.

To submit this request, log into myGriffith and choose My program. Select  my Candidate Centre and then Thesis Submission tab. A list of service requests related to thesis submission will be displayed. Select “Intention to Submit Thesis” where the Intention to Submit form will be available.

You will receive an email once the approval has been actioned. When you access the Candidate Centre, and choose Thesis Submission Information, the Intention to Submit checkbox will be ticked and the intended submission date will be displayed.

Thesis submission approval

Once the Intention to Submit Thesis request has been processed, you will need to seek approval to submit your thesis by lodging a  Thesis Submission Approval service request.

The  form for this request is available from myGriffith and choose My program. Select  my Candidate Centre and then Thesis Submission tab. Select “Thesis Submission Approval” where the Thesis Submission Approval form will be available.

. You will receive an email once the approval has been actioned. When you access the Candidate Centre, and choose Thesis Submission Information, the Actual Submission Date will be displayed.

Submitting your thesis

When you are ready to submit your thesis, log into myGriffith and choose My program. Select  my Candidate Centre and then Thesis Submission tab. Select “Upload Thesis

The Thesis Submission Form will display. Scroll through to read the information on the page so that you are aware of all the required steps.

Check the details declared correct box and enter your full thesis title.

Choose Add attachment. Choose Browse and navigate to where you have saved your thesis. It is recommended that your thesis be submitted as a PDF.

The online thesis submission has a generous size capacity for uploads however should you experience any ongoing difficulties, Thesis Examinations (thesisexams@griffith.edu.au) can work with you to accept submission via alternate means, for example Onedrive.

Once you have completed the process and added any required attachments, choose Submit.

To confirm that the document has uploaded successfully, choose Track My Thesis Examination.The status will state Thesis uploaded successfully.

Once the submitted thesis has been acknowledged by GGRS, the status will be updated to Thesis Submission Confirmed and you can continue to monitor the progress of your examination from this site. When the thesis examination has commenced, the Evaluation status will state Sent to Evaluator and the Thesis Status will be Examination in progress. You will be advised of the outcome of the thesis examination by email.
